Bridging the gap between conservation and conversation.

Emerald Arch is a US based Nonprofit focusing on global conservation efforts with a speciality in human-wildlife conflict, education for future generations & the protection of land in the Amazon.

Emerald Arch was formed in 2022 for the purpose of aiding environmental conservation on a global scale. Individually, all of our members have come face to face with the devastating reality of rainforest deforestation and have felt the consequences firsthand. Between raging wildfires throughout the Amazon rainforest to animals being ripped from their natural habitats for the wildlife trade, we have seen enough. Experiences like these are what drove us to form Emerald Arch. Each of us have been doing what we can to contribute to the cause, but together, our scope is wider and our success is greater. With Emerald Arch and your support, we will work tirelessly and passionately to fight these unending conservational battles.

Our Projects

Protection of the Rainforest

One of our most important activities as an organization is the protection of rainforest worldwide. Currently, we are focused primarily on acquiring land in the Ecuadorian Amazon with plans to obtain land in other countries in the future. Right now, the funds that we are raising are going directly to purchasing our first plot of Ecuadorian rainforest.

  • Veteran’s Nature Therapy Project

Once our first plot of land is obtained, we are excited to begin a rainforest mental health retreat geared towards military veterans. Participants will have the opportunity to partake in activities such as daily hikes, region-specific wildlife and plant identification, and meditation activities. We hope that by providing this space and resources will encourage healing and growth.

  • Scientific Research

As an organization, we believe that in order to protect the rainforest, we need to better understand it. To do this, we will be conducting scientific research projects such as monitoring wildlife species with camera traps, conducting land surveys, and wildlife specific transects. These projects will provide us with the information necessary to build a land-specific database of species.

  • Community Outreach and Engagement

In order to be successful in protecting the rainforest, everyone in the surrounding environment must be on the same page. To encourage this, we will be conducting informative outreach programs to the local community members. By working with local residents, we will be able to exchange knowledge and experiences in order to work towards a common goal of environmental conservation.
